Dear Disco Lemonade,

My boyfriend and I have been together for over a year and I'm starting to think he's never going to propose. I love him so much and he's such a good guy. I'm sure he wouldn't have stayed with me this long if he isn't in love with me, I think we're perfect together. Should I give him an ultimatum?

Hearing from you soon -

Wanting to be Wed

Hello Dearest WTBW,

The last thing any man wants is a woman desperate to be married. Also - it has to be his idea or you won't get the Romantic scenario - right? The thing to do is start mentioning your wedding like you are already planning it. "Oh, we'll have daisies and yellow roses for our wedding bouquet" etc. Be sure to talk about it in social settings when you're together. "Yes, we're going to Honeymoon in Hawaii for two weeks" etc. Always end with "He just needs to pop the question first." Then look at him expectantly. He'll get the hint. He will either ask you to marry him - eventually - or he doesn't want to marry you. At least you'll know.

Best Wishes!

Dear Disco Lemonade,

I am graduating from high school in the next few days. My friends are all heading out right after the ceremony to go camping for the weekend. We're having our own celebration out in the woods. Unfortunately, my parents have planned a party in my honor for the afternoon and said they're taking me to dinner afterward. What should I do?

Yours Truly,

Grateful Graduate

Graduating from high school is the first of many important adult accomplishments. This is a time for real celebration. My vote is: blow off the folks and dash into the woods before your conscience gets the best of you. Party your ass off and be prepared for all the adult decisions waiting for you when you return to reality. Have a fantastic weekend!

Good Luck,
