I apologize for being late! I've tried to slow down in the name of savoring every drop of Spring, and yet - June has definitely arrived! The scent of roses, BBQ, and sunblock wander through my house in waves, signalling the summer transition. Schedules packed with loose end tie-ing, fresh new plans, and every excuse we can find to be outside playing in water will soon give way to full-on Summer. The anticipation is everywhere!
To begin with, our school district has arranged their final day to be June 7. So we are hanging in there - trying to stay in school. The next phase is all swimming and popsicles until... Camping Season. All year we look forward to escaping into the mountains. Camping is the one chance we have to reconnect with our primal selves. I don't know how we'd get through the rest of the year without that beautiful reset.
This summer anything can happen, so embrace the opportunity for pleasure!
